Steve Jobs, the Apple founder, died today, October 5, 2011. No need to tell how important was the man for the IT sector. He succeeded to drive his restrictive rules against the more and more widely adopted open-source trend thanks to his incredible revolutionary vision.

Steve declared mid-2004 he was suffering from a pancreatic tumor that seemed to be successfully removed in July 2004. Time showed it wasn’t so. He continued to present the keynotes but in a thinner and listless appearance. He announced his resignation from his role as Apple’s CEO on August 24, 2011. He has gone the day after the keynote that introduced the iPhone 4s, and will leave many people in mourning.

Thanks Jobs for you innovations, you really left your mark in a wonderful designed-in-california way.
